Our farm gives a home to abused, abandoned, neglected and stray animals and provides them with food, shelter and medical attention in a safe and loving home. No animal is ever turned away.
We are located in upstate NY on 7 acres with barns, hay fields and lots of room to provide a safe haven. My husband and myself are both in our sixties and still run the farm by ourselves.
Everyone here is provided food twice a day with clean fresh water and clean dry bedding to keep them snuggly warm. Winters can be pretty hard on the smaller animals in NY. They are given special treats daily too. The goats love vanilla wafers, the horses like apples, the chickens like peanuts and the cats love their milk!

We started this haven about 20 years ago with just a couple of cats and a few stray dogs. As time went on the numbers have increased dramaticly. We have good luck placing the dogs into loving homes and most of the horses too. But in the past 12 years the community has taken advantage of us and has dropped off over 20 cats and kittens.
20 cats having just 1 litter a year is 120 cats a year!! And that's what we had here.
We are currently feeding, providing medical treatment, and a warm home for over 80 cats & kittens. (See the picture of my kitchen at feeding time in the morning.) Some have been placed and some have passed on. There are at least 10 who only have one eye because of respiratory infections when they were little.
Our local humane shelters cannot help as they are over crowed too. We place as many as we can to good homes but the number still keeps growing!
Our first and foremost priority is to have them spayed. We found a vet who will neuter the males for $60 each. The cats eat between 16 - 20 lbs of food a day! And they use over 14 lbs of litter a day! That doesn't leave much left over for vet bills.
